Mary Ellen Blades Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2022, at the age of 95, Mary Ellen Blades of Windber, Pennsylvania, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ellen Blades to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Whitecomb and Bertha Mae Dixon (Brady); her husband Carl Oscar Blades; and her sisters, Opal Kathalene Dixon, Ruby Marie Thomen (Dixon) and Louise Geraldine Feilbach (Dixon).
She is survived by: her children, Constance Louise Pearson (Steven H. Long), Carolyn Sue "Susie" (Stanley "Randy" Hill) and Carl "Skip" W. Blades (Bernita L.). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday, January 27th from 4:00 p. m. to 6:00 p. m. at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, 1312 Graham Avenue Windber, PA 15963 with a brief service to follow her viewing, (Mary's family requests everyone in attendance to please wear a mask).
