He was predeceased by: his wife Delia (Najjar); his son Michael; his parents, Mike Laratonda and Mary Laratonda (Runco); and his siblings, Sam, Dan, Frank, Tony, Charles and Madeline.
He is survived by: his nephew Clark Fisher; his niece Emily Fisher; and his friend Ray Bossi. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
He donated over 12 gallons of blood during his lifetime.
