It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Elizabeth Hunter of Windber, Pennsylvania, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 2, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James William and Marie Thomas (McGrehan); her husband Jacob "Jay" Hunter; her siblings, Robert, William, James, Charles Thomas and Mary John; and her son-in-law William Degory "Cub".

She is survived by: her children, Christopher Hunter (Judy), Jason Hunter (Lisa), Margaret Elizabeth "Peggy" Degory of Hollsopple, PA and Jaye Ann (Bruce Holsopple); her grandchildren, Anthony Degory (Angie), Todd Holsopple (Ashlee), Joel Holsopple (Nikki), Shane Hunter (Ashley), Andrew Hunter (Briana), Erin Holsopple, Ian Hunter (Sarah), Jacey Reed (Luke), Molly Hunter and Riley Elizabeth Hunter; her great grandchildren, Brody, Rowan, Cohen, Finn, Carson and Cole; and her sisters, Catherine Krupka (Cleveland) and Patricia (Joe Czyrnik). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
