He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Perkosky and Ann Perkosky (Maluchnik); his wife Virginia G. "Googie" Perkosky (Trevorrow); his son Leonard Perkosky; and his siblings, Frances Fielding, Edward, Chester and Frank Perkosky.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas M. Perkosky and Cynthia A. Hunter of Windber; his grandchildren, Crystal (Peter B. McGinnis III), Thomas Joseph Perkosky (Katrina), Jason L. Hunter (Melissa), Christopher M. Perkosky, Ryan L. Perkosky (Katelyn) and Cynthia L. Hunter; and his great grandchildren, Patrick, Abigail McGinnis, Chloe Hunter, Isaiah, Xavier, Benson, Shelby Jane Perkosky and Maverick Perkosky. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
