With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph J. Ropecka (Windber, Pennsylvania), born in South Fork, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 6, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ropecka and Ethel M. Ropecka (Rosemas); his wife Rose Ropecka (Strayer); his siblings, Delores, Allen and James; and his stepchildren, Johnny Stephens and Jeanie Ann Shrift.
He is survived by: his stepson Chris Stephens. He is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
