Joseph J. Brutts Jr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph J. Brutts Jr. of Windber, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph John Brutts, Sr. and Katherine Brutts (Huska); and his siblings, Robert Louis Brutts, Donald Thomas Brutts, Patricia M Swaynos and Madeline F. Meyers.

He is survived by: his sisters, Shirley A. Petropolous and Sharon M. Ream; his wife Mary Ann Brutts; his daughters, Denise Agatep, Dorice Fockler and Deanne O'Dell; his sons-in-law, Felmor Agatep, Todd Fockler and Dennis O'Dell; and his grandsons, Jason Agatep and Eric Agatep. He is also survived by many other relatives, friends, and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates your consideration of a donation in Joe's memory to either Windber Woods Senior Living and Rehabilitation Center, where he was well cared for by wonderful nurses and staff in his final years, or the Alzheimer's Association, which offers helpful resources for families dealing with the life-changing effects of dementia.
