She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis White and Marjorie White (Geddes); her stepmother Yolanda White; and her sister Barbara Leonardis. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Kush, Sr.; her sister Francis Wilson (Robert Foster); her children, Arthur Kush, Jr., Michael Kush and Marjorie Harrity (Nicholas Harrity); and her grandchildren, Brandon Kush (Alyssa Kush), Jarred Kush and Nichole Harrity.

Joan would insist on saving the flowers, therefore donations may be made to The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses or the American Cancer Society.
