He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Berkey and Lizzie Berkey (Statler); his siblings, Byron, Clifford, Geraldine, Leila and Flora; and his sisters-in-law, Kathryn and Evelyn Berkey.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel J. Berkey (Gehman); his sons, Randall (Joanne), Timothy and Jeffrey (Sherry); and his grandchildren, Mary, Timothy (Chris Riffle) of Gilbertsville, NY, Andrew, Rachel (Robert Neubauer) of Finleyville, PA, Sara (Ben Wright) of Washington, DC, Jeffrey (Melissa) and Emma Gebhart (Doug) of Mammoth Lakes, CA. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
