He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Knapp and Anna Knapp (Szegdia); his wife Eileen Narehood; his daughter Linda Wieczorek; and his siblings, Annie Safko, Mary Patsy, Helen Findley, Margie, John, Joe and Pete.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph W. Knapp of Holsopple and Tammy E. Kaup of Altoona; his grandchildren, Jeremy (Krista), Aaron, Shawn and Scott (Davina); his great grandchildren, Gabriella, Jeremiah, Cory and Kylie; and his nieces and nephews, Thomas, Edward, Robert, Jackie, Suzie, Deedee, Rita, Mary Beth and Marie.
