He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Cassanese and Angeline Cassanese (Patchen); his siblings, Eugene, Angelo and Josephine Lamb (James); his grandchildren, Morgan and Charles Brendan Hall; his great grandchild Jiya Morales; and his nephews, Angelo Cassanese, Jr. and Ricky Lamb.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Jane (Medva); his former spouse Hungarian Church; his children, George, Jr., Mary Jane Hall, Carolyn Erickson (Thomas) and Christine Hudak (David); his grandchildren, Sam Bowlin (Emma), Jenna Baker (LaVaughn), Juliann Johnson (Roderick), Nicole Perrot (Drew), Kaleigh Hudak, Tomilynn Underwood (Cody), Tyler Hudak and Lucas Cassanese; and his sister Mary DeDea.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Arbutus Park Manor, or Windber Hospice, in George's honor.
