It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Antonishek of Windber, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex and Anna (Conjelko); his wife Elizabeth (Sapolich); his brothers, Theodore, Alex, Joseph and John; his sisters-in-law, Helen Antonishak and Shirley Antonishek; and his daughter-in-law Linda Antonishek (Chovanec).
He is survived by: his children, David, Aaron (Suzann), Glen Bernie, MD and Barbara Ann Goughnour; his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Denny Miller), Christina (Evan Krisay), Brandon Antonishek and Justine (Richard Brown); his great grandchildren, Ada, Addison, Rosaleigh and Scarlette; and his sister-in-law Barbara Antonishek (Fox).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church or a charity of your choice in memory of George.
