He was predeceased by: his father Frank E. Hanzek; and his niece Nicole Beppler. He is survived by: his mother Gowitha Lou Jean Hanzek (Varner); his daughter Mable Hartman; his brothers, Walter J., Ronald L., David W. and Edward P. (Crystal Morris); his nieces and nephews, Megan, Samantha, James, Ashley, Makayla and Racheal; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Justine, Daniel, Devon, Camden, Jackson, Maximus, Thea and James.
