He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick J. Ruane and Florence Ruane (Gibbs); and his brothers, Thomas and James Ruane. He is survived by: his wife Janice L. Ruane (Wargo); his children, Sean E. Ruane (Christinia) and Colleen J. Ruane (Donald Hoover) of Windber; and his grandchildren, Kady Ruane, Kyle Ruane, Andrew Ruane, Lacey Brummert, Katelyn (Brody Batdorf), Owen Shearman and James Shearman. He is also survived by Four great-grandchildren; also by numerous nieces and nephews.
