He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Gindlesperger and Ameila Gindlesperger (Sherle); his wife Susan (Vitko); and his siblings, Howard and Gladys Berkey.
He is survived by: his pet Cimba; his daughters, Carol S. (Donald Solich) of Middletown, MD, Germaine Zemba and Dorothy Ann (Richard Ola); his grandchildren, Aaron Solich (Tracy), Kristin (Brian Doherty), Adam Solich (Nicole), Richard Ola, Jr. (Jessica), Megan Ola and Melissa (Jon Shuffler); and his great grandchildren, Josh, Kaitlyn, Jonas, Aislinn, Henry, Susan, Kiley, Logan, Nolan and Aiden.
In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the best defense foundation or honor flight 204th AAA AW Bn (SM).
