It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Bango of Windber, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Nolan and Anna Nolan (Benza); her husband George; her brother Patrick; and her grandson George.
She is survived by: her siblings, Michael Nolan, Ann Mullins and Alice Moore (Robert); her sister-in-law Julia Holtzman; her children, George Bango (Lee Ann Kruise) of Hollidaysburg, Catherine Chessa (Raymond) of Johnstown, Jon Bango (Debora) of Windber and James Bango of Windber; her grandchildren, Deanna Smith (Kevin), Carissa Shippey (Carl), Laura Natal (Matthew), Andrew Chessa (Nathalia), Nik Bango, Stephan Chessa (Julie), Katie Stossel (Mike), Julia Chessa and Brooke Bango; and her great grandchildren, Emily, Gavin, Taylor, Kayden, Carson, Leland, Kinsley, Aidan, Kamdyn and Noah.
