He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvonia Smith (Johnson) of Wind Gap, PA and Elmer Holden Sutton of Ontario, NY; and his brother John Sutton. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Hope Johnson (Burch) of Wind Gap, PA; his sons, Charles William Johnson of Hemet, CA and Wade Adam Johnson of Kresgeville, PA; his granddaughters, Erika Jo Johnson of Kresgeville, PA and Emma Rachel Johnson of Kresgeville, PA; and his siblings, Hollye Schulman (Johnson) of Cochecton, NY, Helen Schweiger (Sutton) of Williamson, NY, Melody Smith of Mount Bethel, PA, Elmer Holden Sutton of Williamson, NY and Shawn Smith of Nazareth, PA. He is also survived by five aunts; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests those who are inclined to do so donate in Sheldon's honor to the charity of their individual choosing.
