He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewalt and Violet Dewalt (Starner); his wife Carol E. Dewalt (Gabert); his brother Wayne Dewalt; his great grandchild Layla Knighton; and his brother-in-law David Steward.
He is survived by: his children, Michael G. Dewalt (Christine) of Easton, Beth Dewalt of Wind Gap, Rebecca Dewalt of Easton and April Kocher (Truman) of Casselberry, FL; his siblings, Randy Dewalt (Dawn) of Forks Township, Larry Dewalt of Forks Township, Lois Steward of Nazareth and Joan Mumaw (Ronald) of Nazareth; and his sister-in-law Sally Dewalt of Easton.
