He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Getz and Lillian Getz (Schell); and his brothers, Eugene and Kenneth Getz. He is survived by: his wife Anna M. Getz (Lobb); his children, Fredrick L. Getz, Jr. (Gargi) of Easton and Renee A. Knecht (Henry Busch) of Milford; his grandchildren, Aden Getz and Tyler Knecht; and his siblings, Stanley "Butch" Getz, Ronnie Getz and Helen Everitt.
