He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bortz and Marie Bortz (Weidner). He is survived by: his wife Joanne Bortz (Getz); his children, Bethanne Bonieski of Forks Township and Duane Bortz of Rochester, NY; his grandchildren, Keri Luckenbill (Andrew Lenig), Kim Johnson (Bryan), Andrew Bortz (Amy), Megan Bortz, Michael Bonieski and Matthew Bonieski; and his siblings, Evelyn Werner and David Bortz (Diane). He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church (1422 Church Rd, Pen Argyl, PA 18072). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (1422 Church Rd, Pen Argyl, PA 18072).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Donald's name may be sent to the church.
