It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Gerbi of Wilmerding, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Louis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Louis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Gerbi and Enoa Gerbi; and his brother James. He is survived by : his wife Linda Gerbi (McCloskey); his children, Lou Gerbi (Hope), Kel and Owen; his sister Gwen Chontos (late Dick); and his brothers-in-law, Denny McCloskey, Johnny McCloskey and Dave McCloskey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alfieri Funeral Home Inc. (201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, PA 15148). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
