He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rowland Evans and Helen Evans of Wilmerding, Pennsylvania.; his wife Barbara Rose Evans; his sons, John "Johnny" Richard Evans II (Jennifer Brown) and Jarrod "Rod" Ross Evans; his grandchildren, Cody, Jayce Evans, Courtney and Katie Rose Evans; and also, Bill and Rowland Evans. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
