He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred W. Swanson and Mae Swanson (Lussi); and his brother Bruce Swanson. He is survived by: his wife Janice R. Swanson (Olsen); his daughters, Kris Fernicola (Eugene) of Verona, NJ and Sharon Dahl (Gordon) of Denville, NJ; and his grandchildren, Richard, Samantha, Michael, Sydney, Thomas and Nicholas. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
