She was predeceased by: her parents, B. Mildred Armstrong and Clarence W. Armstrong; her sister Elsie C. Armstrong; and her husband Major David S. Watt. She is survived by: her daughters, Darla Bair, Wendy Dion (Danial Walker) and Heidi Bair (Frederic Fluke); her granddaughters, Molly Sotherden and Emily John (James John); her stepchildren, Stanley Watt, Don Watt (late Kristine), Ted Watt and Kathy (Ralph Bisonic); and also Oliver of Queens.

Donations can be made in Esther's memory to the Bethesda Methodist Church, which was her family's church.
