She is survived by: her children, Samantha J. Fields (Shawn) of Willow Hill and Douglas M. Varner, Sr. of Plymouth, NC; and her siblings, Gerald E. Varner of Ft. Loudon, Lowery W. Varner, Jr. of Shippensburg and Mary E. Neil of Shippensburg. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
