Margaret M. Prendergast Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret M. Prendergast of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Prendergast (Jack); her parents, Thomas V. O'Kane and Margaret M. O'Kane (Huggard); and her siblings-in-law, Patricia O'Kane, Jean (Prendergast), Sam Ciaverelli, Elaine (Prendergast), Jim Cullen and Jack Pergolin.

She is survived by: her children, Helen Fanning (Bob), Margaret Foley (Jack), John (Chris), Tom (Liz), Jean Gallagher (Kevin), Steve (Kelly), Anne Hitchens (Mike) and Carol Ford (Jeff); her grandchildren, Bridget, Maureen (Austin), Tess, Molly, Bobby, Jennifer Mullen (Jason), Lauren Valente (Bob), Brian Foley (Meg), Christie Foley, Pat Foley (Laura), Matt Foley, Sean Prendergast (Allison), Dan Prendergast (Kelly), Cait Loughson (Taylor), Maggie, Jack Prendergast, Caroline, Jim, Michael Gallagher, Nicole, Nate, Matt Prendergast, Bill, Meghan, Danny, Thomas, Gabriel Hitchens, Madeline, Greta, Corinne and Rory Ford; her great grandchildren, Jack, Ryan, Conor, Nicholas, Ava, Mia, Sarah, Jim, Margaret, Patrick, Elle, Sophie, Nora, Gwen, Owen, Cooper, Murphy, Rhys and Morgan; her sisters-in-law, Eleanor O'Kane (Bill), Barbara O'Kane (John) and Peg Pergolin (Prendergast); her brothers, Thomas, William and John O'Kane; and her great grandchild Evan Valente. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Resurrection of Our Lord Church (2000 Shelmire Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19152). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
