He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Ashenbrenner (Carr); his parents, Mary Ashenbrenner (Hanlon) and Reinhart Ashenbrenner; and his siblings, Alberta, Irma, Jeanne, Roger and Rev. Robert Ashenbrenner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Eileen Lightner and Kathleen Totaro; his children-in-law, Bill, Patrick (Thomas J. Ashenbrenner) and Sherri; his brother John Ashenbrenner; his sister-in-law Carol; and also John. He is also survived by his fifteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
