He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores Marie Covolesky; his parents, Charles Covolesky and Stella Covolesky; and his siblings, Charles, Jr., Robert Covolesky and Joan Shephard.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Lou McDonald (late Vincent McDonald); and his sons, John Jr. Covolesky (Giselle) and Daniel Covolesky.
