He was predeceased by: his sisters, Zatella Jenkins, India Smith, Paulette Murray and Mary Catherine White. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Roland, Brenda Roland of Philadelphia, PA and Chelette Roland of Philadelphia, PA; and his sister Juanita "Cookie" Cobbs of Blackbird, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
