He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Mezzatesta and Mary Mezzatesta; and his brother Leonard. He is survived by: his brothers, Lenny and Joe "Moose"; his daughter Maria Meade (John Wilson); his grandchildren, Ashley and Mark; his brother Joseph; and his nieces and nephews, Michael, Patricia, Michelle (Gavin), Ethan, Melina, Jessica, Alyssa, Joseph (Mary) and Nicole (Viola Talarico).

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Angelone Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA from 7 p. m. to 9 p. m. Mass and funeral are private due to covid concerns, and will be held on December 9, 2021 at 10 a. m. at St. Joseph Church, 1795 Columbia Avenue, Warrington, Pennsylvania.

Yvette Flocco wrote a sympathy message

“I will miss Fran. My Dad called him "The General". He was one of my Dad's Best Friends. I am glad I got to sit with him and talk and hug him at my dads 80th birthday party in August. He was an amazing man. He was sooo handsome and I enjoyed his company and Loved seeing him. I will always remember you. Rest in Peace. xoxoxoxoxo”
