He was predeceased by: his wife Maria T. "Marie" Mele; and his brother Salvatore. He is survived by: his sons, Frank (Claire), Dr. Mark (Colleen) and Dr. Carl (Aparna); his grandchildren, Madelena, Dr. Anthony (Jenna), Alessandra, Sophia, Isabella, Nisha and Luca; and his siblings, Mario (Carolyn), Michael and Ann Wiser (Tom).
