He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Maurer and Marion Nolen Maurer. He is survived by: his wife Jody A. Fox Maurer; his sons, Dawson S. Maurer and Owen B. Maurer; his stepchildren, Rebecca Witkowski and Terry Mack, Jr.; his stepgrandchildren, Olyvia, Madelynn and Anthony Jr.; and his nieces and nephews, Brittney, T. J. Babb and Many.
