He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Sr. Challenger and Pauline Adams Challenger. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Chris Reed of Williamstown and Jody Carl of Williamstown; his brothers, William Challenger (Shelly) and Patrick Challenger (Penny); his stepgrandchildren, Jessica Adams (Sam), Elijah Reed (Tiffany) and Jonathan Ferron; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Elliott, Maverick, Chris and Sophie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
