As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sr. Gaffney and Clara Breit Gaffney; and his siblings, Patrick Gaffney and Joyce Houtz. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie K. Arnold Gaffney; and his son Rustin A. Gaffney (Alexandria). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
