He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boyer and Esther Machamer Boyer; his wife Rae Carl Spittle Boyer; his sisters, Shirley Nolte and Merle Thompson; and his stepson Lynn Spittle.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Seiger, John Boyer, Lisa Stansfield and Amy Muggio; his stepson Gary Spittle; and his sister Faye Thompson. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
