With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter W. Palmeter (Williamsport, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter W. Palmeter and Bertha Palmeter (Carpenter); his wife Dona E. Palmeter (Allison); his daughters, Cheryl Kittle (Brett) of Williamsport, Christina Hanlon (Thomas) of Forest Hill, MD and Melissa Karney of Avis; his grandchildren, Bryce (Emily), Logan, Samantha, Cali, Alyssa, Kevin, Erica (Brian) and Brennan; his great grandchild Haiden; and his brother Gary Palmeter (Karen).
Memorial donations in Walt's name may be made to Pennsylvania Game Commission to help support wildlife conservation.
