Virginia L. Hunter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia L. Hunter (Williamsport, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 30, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Coleman and Audrey Coleman (Miller); her husband Carl R. Hunter; and her daughter Anna Downey. She is survived by: her sons, Keith B. Downey (Susan) of Huntersville, Steven A. Downey (Tamara) of Huntersville and Chris E. Downey (Kristin) of Huntersville; her siblings, James Coleman (Edie), Charles Cowden (Sherry) and Barbara Lechler; her stepchildren, Keith Hunter (Christine), Kurt Hunter (Joyce), Kyle Hunter (Martha) and Kerri Shephard (Tim); and the father of her children Bernard L. Downey. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren; her first husband.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Virginia's name may be made to Lycoming Valley Baptist Church, 4980 Lycoming Mall Road, Montoursville, PA 17754.
