He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. "Bud" Hess and Shirley E. Hess (Hannen); his wife Jeanne; and his sister-in-law Dot. He is survived by: his brother Robert C. "Bob" Hess, Jr. of Jersey Shore; his niece Brandy Hess of Montoursville; his aunt Delores "Dee"; and his uncle Leroy Pfirman of South Williamsport. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
