He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Vogel and Sallie Schelb (Williams); his sister Debra Silverstrim; and his sister-in-law Beth Vogel (Ludwig). He is survived by: his wife Melanie Vogel (Winters); his stepparents, LaRue M. Schelb and Nona Vogel; his siblings, Steven R. Vogel, Timothy Schelb and Laurie Stavitzski (Eugene); and his stepsisters, Donna and Debbie. He is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews, and nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
