He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Bower and Marion Whitter Bower; his brothers, Paul and Kenny Bower; and his daughter-in-law Deborah Bower.
He is survived by: his children, James D. Bower of Williamsport, Paul E. Bower (Stella) of South Williamsport and Patricia A. Leidhecker (Steve) of Cogan Station. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
