He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Wertz and Helen Wertz (Leavy). He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Hales); his children, Benjamin E. Gilbert (Ashley) of Turbotville, Aaron M. Wertz (Shaheem Mack) of Williamsport, Jennifer M. Wertz of Cogan Station, Heather M. Wertz of Williamsport, Colleen E. Kempton (Brendan) of Pittsburgh, Kristiana E. Wertz of Muncy and Azzalea E. Wertz (Travis Grobes, II) of Williamsport; and also Leonard Wertz, Jr. of Williamsport. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation and Funeral Service (500 W 4th St, Williamsport, PA 17701). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home (500 W 4th St, Williamsport, PA 17701).
