He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron W. Gudgel and Lillian Gudgel (DeLozier); and his siblings, Jeanette Gudgel Desowitz and David Gudgel. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Kirsch; his sons, Andrew Gudgel (Kathy), Keith Gudgel (Tina), Bill Gudgel (Kristen Strakusek) and Rev. Dan Gudgel; his grandchildren, Peter, Lexi, Hailey Gudgel and Everette Strakusek Gudgel; and his sister Virginia Skoney.
