She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley L. Newhart and Catherine A. Newhart (Younker); her husband Frank W. "Bill" Roat; and her grandson Matthew C. Kayhanfar. She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl A. Kayhanfar and Cynthia Hornberger of Berwick; and her grandchildren, Andrew Kayhanfar (Traci) of Plattsmouth, NE, Christian Kayhanfar (Marcia) of Parrish, FL, William Hornberger of Tharptown and Erica (Jacob Piatt) of Berwick. She is also survived by five great-grandsons.
