He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph S. Zarr; and his wife Marietta Zarr. He is survived by: his parent Alma Artman Zarr; and his children, Joseph E. Jr. (Linda) of Cogan Station, Ruby E. Zarr-Hill (Kenneth) and James A. (Erica). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
