It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George C. Knerr III of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George II and Dorthy Knerr (Goodfellow); his daughter-in-law Stanna Knerr; and his sister Barbara Artley. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Knerr (Stamets); and his children, Lisa Dunkleberger (Don) of Williamsport and Jeffrey Knerr of Beech Creek. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, and several extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in George's name to the Old Lycoming Twp.
