He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Hinston (Richey); his parents, Lair Hinston and Ruth Hinston (Ulmer); and his siblings, Richard Hinston, Sarah Brown and Nancy Beattie.
He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Reiff; his son-in-law Jeffrey Reiff of Williamsport; his grandchildren, Andrew Reiff of Williamsport and Susan Reiff of Philadelphia; his brother James Hinston (Ann) of Williamsport; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Beattie of Williamsport and Barbara Hinston of Montoursville.
