He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harold E, Harriet E Christie and Eliose Vroman; and his father Hugh E Christie. He is survived by: his stepmother Judith Christie (Hiscar); his brother Lieutenant Colonel; his sister-in-law Valerie S Christie (Chaya); his nephew Brent G Christie; and his nieces, Nicolette A Rose (Christie), Alexandra R Christie and Wendy Johnson (Christie). He is also survived by nine grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (133 E 3rd St, Williamsport, PA 17701). The military honors was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Jersey Shore Cemetery (1103 Locust St, Jersey Shore, PA 17740).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans, an organization Douglas felt strongly about.
