Carol L. Grimes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol L. Grimes (Williamsport, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her pet Patches; her parents, Earl Loudenslager and Maxine Loudenslager; her former husband James L. Grimes, Jr.; her significant other Steve Updegraff; her son James Grimes III of California; her brother Earl L.; her daughters, Paula Grimes of South Williamsport and Daphne Grimes-Shorlo (Michael E.) of Loyalsock; her grandchildren, Michael L., Wayne, Jenny, Jade, Erika, Michael W. and David; and her great grandchildren, Zoey, Aiden and Carter.
She is survived by: her pet Poco; and her sisters, Judy H., Mary Anne L., Wanda K., Beryl N. and Mary. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home (500 W 4th St, Williamsport, PA 17701). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home to help off-set the funeral costs for the family. Please consider making a donation to raise much needed funds to cover the funeral expenses and support the family.
