She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd James and Velna Moore (Johnson); her husband Richard A. "Dick" Allen, Sr.; her daughter Terri Lynn Allen; and her siblings, James Herman Moore and Jacqueline Eleanor Jett.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard A. Allen II (Heather Anthony) of Tampa and Heron "Button" D. Allen of Washington, D. C.; her grandson Richard A. Allen III of Philadelphia, PA; her sister Velna Leah Grimes of Williamsport, PA; her sister-in-law Mary Moore of Mesa, Arizona.; and her godchildren, Pamela Adams, Jamarr Lyles and Aleshia Robinson.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (433 Walnut St, Williamsport, PA 17701). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Shiloh Baptist Church in her memory.
