With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Allen R. Mertz of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 13, 2024 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Allen leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Allen may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond, Sr. Mertz and Sandra Mertz (Leiphart); and his pet Oreo. He is survived by: his son Dakota Mertz; the mother of his child Lisa; his sons, Allen Mertz and Anthony Mertz; and his siblings, Raymond Mertz, Jr., Thomas Mertz, Linda Bauman and Ann Mertz (John Payne). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
