He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. McChessney and E. Ethel McChessney (Shadle); his siblings, Geraldine Snyder, Frances Helsley, Warren, Edward, Fred, W. Glenn, Karl, Clarence and Harold; and his half-siblings, Venna Yonkonski, Ruth Heimbach, Agnes Wolf, Emma Hankins, Leo, Jimmy and Alvin McChessney.
He is survived by: his wife Deb; his sons, Darrin M. McChessney (Jaculin) of Williamsburg, Travis M. McChessney (Catherine) of Williamsburg and Ryan M. McChessney (Stephanie) of Williamsburg; his grandchildren, Dominic, Brook (Brandon), Avery, Garrett (Laurie), Kassidy (Josiah), Afton, Riley, Mason, Brighten, Isaiah, Noah and Zorianna (Martin); and his great grandchild Lilith. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren.
